Dog Control
Details
Aberdeen Dog Warden team deal with the uplift of stray dogs in Aberdeen. They also give helpful advice on any dog related problems and investigate dog related complaints such as barking and fouling.
These matters are dealt with in the strictest confidence. The Council's booklet Living with Dogs gives advice on dog ownership.
Responsible dog ownership campaign
Education is a key role of the dog warden. Presentations on responsible dog ownership and a programme of school talks are undertaken every year. Penalties for Dog Fouling can be accessed here.
You can report Dog Control issues by using the Online Fault Reporting System.
